At 15 years of age, Kathi was already working in corporate event development at a major amusement park in Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Arkansas, she continued in event planning and site selection positions before becoming an independent event management consultant for the recreational vehicle company Polaris Industries. The results Kathi achieved for Polaris attracted more clients, and in 1997, she co-founded Reaction Management, Inc. Now, with full ownership of RMI, Kathi has targeted the company’s focus to providing the most effective site selection service in the industry, while continuing to offer comprehensive event management services. Her unique level of experience means greater success for every RMI client. |

Dena Lynn

As a private Meeting Planner with an educational company, Dena worked with school districts nationwide before accepting a position as Conference Service Manager and Catering Manager for Westin Mission Hills in Palm Springs. A similar position with Scottsdale Plaza Resort first brought Dena to the Valley, before she headed to Las Vegas to serve as Catering Manager with the Hard Rock Hotel. There she honed her ability to produce unique special events and corporate events. Dena’s blazing career path soon brought her back to the Valley, working as Conference Service and Catering Director at Embassy Suites Hotel, where she was in charge of corporate and social events. She also managed corporate events for the Pointe South Mountain Resort. Now, as Event Manager with RMI, Dena draws from 13 years of diverse industry experience to provide targeted site selection and event management services that meet each client’s objectives. |

| A graduate of Arizona State University’s Travel and Tourism program, Devon is one of a few whose education has directly influenced her professional pursuits. Her career in the hospitality industry started 11 years ago at the Scottsdale Conference Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. After working both as a Special Events Manager and Conference Services Manager at a sister property in the Valley, Devon was asked to serve as a member of the initial management team for the opening of Daufuskie Island Resort & Spa in Hilton Head, SC. There she assumed the role of Director of Conference Services, overseeing both corporate meeting planning as well as the planning for social and club member events. A new professional opportunity brought her back to the Valley, where she again picked up the portfolio of responsibilities as a Conference Services Manager at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort and the Pointe South Mountain. Taking a turn as an Event Manager for Mercer Advisors, she assisted the sales team by handling the site selection and planning for their twice monthly client meetings held at locations all across the United States. Now as an Event Manager at RMI, Devon is pleased to be able to apply her extensive planning experience and industry knowledge to provide each of RMI’s clients with an unsurpassed meeting experience. |
